32…good or bad?…

Yesterday I celebrated my 32nd birthday. I woke up while the hubs was still asleep, made my coffee, and got cozy on the couch. I thought of the number 32 and wondered if I should be excited about getting older or slightly depressed cause the years are just flying by. Right then and there I thought of all the beautiful memories we have created since I entered my 30’s. Life has truly been a blessing and what’s even more amazing is that it’s only begun! And exactly at 10am my little sweet pea called and sang happy birthday…I might have melted and cried a little.

We started the day having lunch with my bestie G and her little munchkin…I die for my little sweet pea! I don’t remember ever celebrating a birthday without G…it just wouldn’t be right. My girlies showed up with some beautiful flowers and my little artist made me the sweetest card…

And drew the cutest mermaid you’ve ever seen…she totally takes after her very talented papa…

After the lunch the hubs went to run his errands while the girls got manis and pedis…always much needed.

A few hours of just hanging out, chatting, having coffee, and being silly with our sweet pea is what I call a perfect birthday. We wrapped up the night with a casual dinner just my handsome husband and I. And while the night came to a close I thought of how lucky I am to have such amazing people in my life and to be healthy. Life is great.

Fresh squeezed watermelon juice…it tastes as good as it looks!

And bonus…it was awesome to have a day off right smack in the middle of the week. Now that it’s Thursday I’m getting super excited about Friday! We’re almost peeps! Have a wonderful day.
